Making Your Life Easier: Recent OEMS Enhancements

The last thing you need is complexity in your investment technology. Let us simplify your day-to-day.

SS&C’s Eze OEMS development team has been hard at work over the last several months, building several new enhancements designed to make your life easier.

Whether you’re looking to trade fixed income or options more efficiently, seamlessly manage FX or interest rate swaps, or identify portfolio risk more easily, there’s something new for you.

Subscribe to our blog to get every new insight straight to your inbox.

More Efficiently Manage Complicated Instruments

Eze OMS, SS&C’s leading global multi-asset order management platform, now has more to offer firms trading fixed income and options.

An enhanced trade matching blotter provides users a more comprehensive view of trade details for these complex instruments, enabling more seamless trade management and post-trade processing.

For firms trading cross-currency and interest rate swaps, users can now access enhanced trade entry workflows with default logic and inputs from the allocation expert for improved cross-currency swap and IRS trade management.

Automated FX swap allocation processing saves firms time and helps minimize allocation errors, while enhanced trade management tools for interest rate swaps provide better visibility into the trade lifecycle, facilitating more informed decision-making and risk management for swaps.

Gain Greater Agility and Flexibility in Fixed-Income Trading

In our last OEMS enhancement blog, we discussed how Eze EMS, a proven leader in multi-asset execution management, expanded its capabilities to include fixed-income trading, allowing firms to seamlessly trade a variety of fixed-income instruments, including corporates, governments, munis, and securitized bonds, alongside other assets.

Since then, fixed-income trading capabilities have grown with the ability to leverage best execution details for unsolicited trades, improved alerting for fixed-income unsolicited fills from liquidity vendors and support for fractional pricing for bond futures limit orders in algo trading.

Achieve Higher Levels of Trade Execution Automation

As firms continue to look for ways to optimize time-consuming workflows in a competitive market, automated trading offers a powerful solution. Trade automation frees up trader time to focus on value-add activities, like driving alpha generation.

We recently shared enhancements to Eze EMS’s trading functionality that unlock higher levels of trade execution automation. Now, users can build automated trading rules for fixed-income orders, enhancing the efficiency of their bond trades.

Additionally, new advanced fields for automated trading decision-making and added flexibility to the Algo Wheel allow your firm more flexibility while trying to achieve higher levels of automation.

Stop the Swivel with the Ability to Size Trades in the EMS

New to Eze EMS, traders can enter T-State trades directly into the new Submit Staged Order with Allocations window. This capability allows traders to size trades and run low-level models, like percentage increase or decrease, based on real-time OMS position data without having to switch systems.

This OEMS synchronization allows users to stay focused without needing to swivel between multiple systems to find the data they need.

Access Trusted Solutions Faster

We're excited to announce Eze Marketplace is now available in Eze EMS.

Already available in Eze OMS, Eze Marketplace opens a world of new possibilities, allowing our users to easily plug-and-play tested and trusted third-party solutions

With our latest release, we launched with S3 Partners for short interest data. In the coming months, look out for new applications and features for Eze EMS clients, including built-in TCA.

Better Inform Portfolio Construction and Risk Management

New modeling and analytics functionality allow portfolio managers and analysts to more easily access the information they need to dive deeper into portfolio construction and risk by modeling by:

  • Underlying Exposure: Leverage the characteristics of underlying assets or reference rates to simulate scenarios, quantify exposure or rebalance.
  • Dirty price: Model based on securities’ current market prices to inform rebalancing, interest rate risk and trading decisions.
  • Delta-adjusted Exposure: Evaluate portfolio sensitivity to the price change of an underlying asset to quantify its risk.

SS&C’s Eze OEMS is designed to simplify your workflows – and your workday – and enhance your decision-making.
