Let's take a moment and reflect on our recent Eze Investment Suite enhancements and get a sneak peek into some of the upcoming updates for 2024.
Throughout 2023, we continued to expand and invest in our industry-leading service organization and invested over USD $110M into research and development across SS&C’s wealth and investment technology solutions. Every six weeks, we rolled out product releases with new features and enhancements for Eze Investment Suite.
SS&C Eze’s product roadmaps are always based on the needs of our clients, combined with the trends we see in the marketplace. Our feature-rich platform enables clients to streamline their investment operations and automate otherwise manual processes. We continue to ensure we provide the most modern, user-friendly front-to-back solution the market offers, leveraging the latest and greatest technology available.
In 2023, we completely overhauled the Eze OMS user interface, expanded our SS&C ecosystem, grew our Eze Marketplace menu of plug-and-play applications, expanded OEMS capabilities, and much more.
Check out some details of our top enhancements:
Accessibility
- Eze OMS user interface: improved visual ergonomics give users a more intuitive experience and configurability with updated icons and light, dark, and traditional modes
- Mobile app support for Eze OMS: access portfolios from anywhere with the new Eze app for iPhone and Android, including tablet support, now supporting Eze OMS with light and dark themes available
SS&C Ecosystem
- Integrations with Advent: Eze Investment Suite’s expanded front-to-back ecosystem better serves more asset and alternative managers, including those running multiple lines of business, with tight integrations with Advent Geneva® and Advent Genesis®
- API enhancements: better communicate data across platforms and third parties with several enhancements across Trade and Portfolio APIs, including improvements to reference data retrieval from Bloomberg
- Eze Marketplace: grew our menu of applications in Eze Marketplace to 22 with 13 new partners in 2023. Tools span bond liquidity, AI data analytics, treasury management, regulatory compliance, and much more
Front-Office
- Blotter organization: OEMS clients now have the ability to organize their Eze EMS blotter using the same filters they use in Eze OMS
- OEMS Auto Trade-Sync: more Auto Trade-Sync configurability with improvements allowing users to sync or un-sync EMS-originated trades to end the trade’s lifecycle or keep it live in Eze OMS
- More hot buttons: added several new hot buttons to quickly bump prime and/or volume, change algo strategy, and accept negative bump quantities or negative percent of ticket values
- Liquidity views: easily view data across all the exchanges that symbol is traded on rather than just the primary exchange for a more holistic view of liquidity
Back-Office
- Gains/Loss calculations: accurately calculate realized, unrealized, and theoretical short- or long-term gains and losses based on applied tax lot in the allocation expert and new trade window
- Digital asset support: increased crypto support in Eze PMA with several enhancements, including creating cryptocurrencies to trade just like any other currency, built-in auto-creation of an exchange rate security, and the ability to reconcile crypto positions with rounding up to 14 decimal places

In 2024 (and beyond), we'll continue to focus on product development initiatives that mean the most to our clients, including more user-interface improvements for Eze EMS, better tools across the front-to-back office, stronger mobile app support, additional asset class support for electronic bond trading in Eze EMS, an expanded investment ecosystem – tightening integrations with SS&C Advent and other SS&C solutions, and much more.
