SS&C Eze came out on top in multiple categories at this year's inaugural WatersTechnology Asia Awards, including taking home the prestigious top overall award, Best Third-Party Technology Provider. SS&C Eze was also named Best OMS and Best EMS for Eze OMS and Eze EMS, respectively.
The awards, which recognize excellence in the deployment and management of financial information and technology within Asia's capital market community, were announced during a virtual awards ceremony on the afternoon of July 9. Notably, SS&C Eze was the only vendor to take home more than one title.
Eze OMS, a global multi-strategy order management system, was recognized in part for its ease of use, configurability, intuitive user experience, and easy-to-adopt workflows. Eze EMS, a high-speed, multi-broker execution management system, stood out from the competition by providing the advanced front-office capabilities firms need in an increasingly competitive market and giving users an edge by helping them maximize performance and achieve best execution.
Being named the top provider in three categories, including Best Third-Party Technology Provider, by such a reputable industry publication is not only an immense honor but also a testament to SS&C Eze's commitment to delivering quality solutions and services in the Asia Pacific region.
SS&C Eze has worked with asset managers in APAC for over 10 years and, throughout this time, has watched the asset management industry grow and mature. In recent years, this growth has been evidenced in the expansion of the Asian hedge fund industry where Eze Eclipse, our cloud-native platform, has experienced rapid adoption since its introduction in 2019. Already this year, the all-in-one platform has signed 11 new clients, bringing the total number of clients signed on since launch to 27.
In addition to these awards, SS&C Eze was also recently selected as a Qualified Outsourcing Provider by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government as part of their Emerging Manager Program for the second year in a row, named an accredited vendor to help local financial institutions adopt digital solutions by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), and awarded Best Buy-Side OMS provider at the TradingTech Insight Awards USA 2020, Best Portfolio Management Software Provider at the HFM European Services Awards 2020, and Best Trading Platform at the FinTech BreakThrough Awards 2020.
